Treasurer’s Reports:

1. Status of bank accounts: No activity.

2. Dues Received: No dues received.


Secretary’s Reports: No new members.


Committee reports:

Activities:

1. Bowling event 1/21/05; five attendees.

2. GT Basketball vs. Maryland game watching event 1/30/05 at Bill Bateman’s Bistro; seven attendees.

Recruiting: No report.

Roll Call: 218 donors required to meet 2004-2005 goal; 143 participating donors recorded thus far.

Scholarship:

1. Presidential Scholarship Interviews:

  1. Hosted by MM & VM.

  2. Seven candidates interviewed.

  3. Interviewers: RO, CF, Paul Broome & Jim Gruen.

2. Club Scholarship:

  1. MM received list of local students accepted to Georgia Tech.

  2. Per MM, Scholarship Committee to determine ranking scale.

  3. Club to offer $1,000 scholarship ($500 from Club plus matching $500 from GT Alumni Association).

  4. MM to send e-mail, on February 11th, to list of accepted students regarding scholarship and July 17th Freshman Picnic.

  5. Application deadline set for February 25, 2005.

  6. Recipient to be chosen and named 2-weeks following application deadline; first and second runner-up to be selected as contingency.

  7. Information regarding winner is due to GT Alumni Association by March 11, 2005 to qualify for matching.

  8. Scholarship monies due to GT Alumni Association by April 19, 2005.

Young Alumni: No report.

  1. CF to send information to Jane Stoner regarding alumni mailing list.

  2. Club to validate list.

2. Upcoming Events:

  1. GT Women’s Basketball at Maryland, 2/3/05.

  2. GT Basketball game watching vs. Duke at Damon’s Arundel Mills, 2/5/05 at 1 p.m.

  3. GT Basketball game watching vs. Florida State in White Marsh, 2/20/05 at 2 p.m.

  4. Bowling in Glen Burnie, 2/20/05 at 8:30 p.m.

3. Freshman Picnic:

  1. Scheduled for July 17, 2005.

  2. Location to be determined.

4. Merchandising:

a. Existing shirt count: 10; price reduced to $30.

b. Proposed merchandising: Under Armour tops & fleece jackets.
